Councillors Gary Etheridge, Sylvia Griffin, Rupert Turpin and Elizabeth Turpin, were very pleased to accept an invitation from MHS homes to view their flagship development in Corporation Street, Rochester. The site has seen the creation of over 80 homes available for shared ownership and private rent.
Councillor Gary Etheridge said, “Each apartment is built to a high specification, with contemporary interiors and private winter gardens. There is one allocated parking space for each home, and the development is ideally located for commuters, next to Rochester station”.
Councillor Elizabeth Turpin added, “MHS own and manage over 10,000 homes in the Medway, Maidstone, Gravesham, Dartford and Tonbridge and Malling areas of Kent, making them one of the largest independent social landlords in the UK. I fully support their strategic plan that everyone needs a decent home. These new flats certainly meet that criteria”.
