Bush Road and A228 Traffic Calming
The promised traffic light trial at the junction of the A228 with Bush Road beginning this weekend. I will carefully monitor the trial and report back to you. It is also important that you provide me with your feedback and views on the new traffic light layout. I want to ensure that we get the changes we need and that are effective. Saturday 16th February - From 6pm the existing signals are taken out of operation. New road markings will be painted overnight together with temporary traffic signals installed. The existing speed limit signs covered and installation of SID and 30mph signs.
Sunday 17th February - The temporary signals will be commissioned and operational by noon.
Monday 18th February - Traffic light trial begins. An inspector will be on hand to report back any problems.
Sunday 3rd March - The trial ends and junction will be restored.
