Councillors David Brake, Barry Kemp and Martin Potter were this week delighted to attend the University of Kent's graduation ceremony, held at Rochester Cathedral.
Medway is fortunate to be home to a magnificent university campus, upon which a partnership of four universities has been formed. Coupled with the proactive Medway University Technical College, which is delivering much needed skills to the area, educational institutions are the crowning glory of the Medway Conservative's regeneration initiative and play a key part in the Council's efforts to raise aspirations among Medway's residents.
Earlier in the week the Leader, Councillor Alan Jarrett, also met with Alan Reed, our Partner from the University of Greenwich, to visit the Universities at Medway Campus, and offer the Medway Conservative Group's continued support of educational excellence in the area.
