Leader, Councillor Alan Jarrett, and Portfolio Holder for Adult Services, Councillor David Brake, were this morning delighted to attend the launch of Medway NHS Foundation Trust's new surgical robot.
The robot, a Da Vinci Xi surgical system, was launched at Medway Maritime Hospital and is designed to be able to be less invasive and carry out highly complex, multi-quadrant surgery as well as simpler, single-quadrant surgery.
