The Medway Conservative Group were pleased to hold their annual way day earlier this week, the first under the leadership of Cllr George Perfect. The day focused on a number of policy based discussions which were led by shadow cabinet members. The Group also continued it’s discussions about Vision 2027, the group's plan for the next local elections and beyond.
The Group were pleased to be joined by The Lord Fuller OBE, a titan of Conservative local government, and a Member of the House of Lords. Lord Fuller led a thought provoking session on the next local elections, and key issues of the day for local government.
Cllr George Perfect, Leader of the Medway Conservatives said the following after the day:
I was really pleased to chair the first Medway Conservative Group Away Day of my leadership on Saturday. It was great to have my friend and Member of the House of Lords, The Lord Fuller OBE join us.
I’m proud to lead a strong Shadow Cabinet and wider group focused on holding the administration to account for the people of Medway and the next local election in May 2027.
