Councillors for Walderslade, Adrian Gulvin and David Brake, are exceptionally pleased to have this weekend attended the unveiling of a new defibrillator in Walderslade Village. The Mayor of Medway, Habib Tejan, was also in attendance, with all Conservative Councillors warmly welcoming the installation.
The potentially life saving defibrillator was partially funded by the Councillors' ward funds and partially by the Rotary Club of Medway. Anyone can use a defibrillator in the event of an emergency, with the device giving a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest.
