Councillors David Wildey, Wendy Purdy and Rehman Chishti MP were delighted to join the executive of the Medway Foundation Trust at Medway Hospital this weekend, to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the NHS.
A garden party, made all the more jubilant by the glorious sunshine, took place at the hospital, which was also opened and attended by Councillor Habib Tejan and his wife Bridget - the Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress respectively.
There is not one of us who does not owe some debt of gratitude to the care and kindness of our superhero NHS staff, and Medway Conservatives were honoured to take part in celebrating not only the past 70 years but also the work of the MFT staff in Medway specifically.
