Medway Conservative Councillors were last night delighted to attend the Votes for Women Centenary Celebration Event held at Rochester's Corn Exchange.
This year marks the centenary of the campaign for women’s right to vote and the event marked this important milestone in style, with an exhibition of Suffragettes and Suffragists. Councillors were also delighted to receive a talk from keynote speaker Ian Porter, as well as an introduction from Dr Anne Logan of Rochester Bridge Trust.
