Councillors Mackness and Tejan are delighted to have successfully lobbied and secured much needed funding for St Mary's Island C of E school, which urgently requires extra capacity.
Both Councillors, pictured with Headteacher Christine Easton, enjoyed visiting the school to see the new nursery provision, as well as the commencement of works to expand the school.
Councillor Mackness said:
"Councillor Tejan and I warmly welcome this investment into the school, which does an excellent job helping Medway children to achieve their full potential through developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to successfully navigate their way through the world around them.
