This weekend Councillor Mark Joy, Councillor for Strood South and Candidate for Twydall Ward, visited Strood United Youth Football Club.
The Club were the recipients of a donation from Tesco Bags of Help scheme, which saw them awarded £1,000 from the Frindsbury Express store.
As a passionate football fan, Councillor Joy has also supported Strood United this year through donations from his ward improvements funds for a new goal for the Under 7 Team, and even more recently a donation of £300 towards training equipment.
