This Remembrance Sunday saw Medway come together for services across the towns. Medway Conservative Councillors were amongst those laying wreaths across our community in memory of those who gave so much for our today.
- Cllr Adrian Gulvin, The Leader of the Opposition, laid a wreath in Chatham.
- Cllr Liz Turpin, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Cllr Gary Etheridge, Cllr Trevor Clarke, Cllr Alex Hyne and Cllr John Williams, along with The Rt Hon Kelly Tolhurst MP, Member of Parliament for Rochester and Strood, laid a wreath and paid respects at the Rochester War Memorial and attended a service at Rochester Cathedral.
- Cllr Howard Doe, Cllr Mark Joy and Rodney Chambers OBE laid wreaths in Rainham and attended a service at St Margaret's Church Rainham alongside Cllr George Perfect, Opposition Spokesperson for Children, Young People and Education, Cllr Kwashie Anang, Cllr Wayne Spring and Cllr Gary Hackwell.
- Rehman Chishti MP, and Cllr Roger Barrett laid wreaths in Gillingham.
- Cllr Andrew Lawrence, alongside Cllr Jim Gilbourne, laid a wreath at All Saints Church in Hempstead.
