Councillors Andrew Mackness and Habib Tejan are exceptionally pleased to have donated their ward funds to St Mary's Island Resident's Association for the installation of a potentially life saving defibrillator within the community centre for residents or visitors on the island alike.
Anyone can use a defibrillator in the event of an emergency, with the device giving a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest.
