On Saturday 29th June, our group had the real pleasure to attend the annual Medway celebration of Armed Forces Day at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
The armed forces are an integral part of Medway, with our rich naval history through the Dockyard and being home to the Royal Engineers. This year’s armed forces day was even more special marking the 40th anniversary of the closure of Chatham Dockyard.
Well done to the team at the Historic Dockyard Chatham under the leadership of Richard Morsley, and the Medway Council events team for a great day.
